Bought a 1/2 ton suburban with a good size lift on it but it looks like the previous owners ran out of money when it came to putting new springs in the back. The truck has 10" blocks in the back and I am trying to do it the right way. I am replacing the blown up 10 bolt for a 14 BFF, at the same time I want to do a shackle flip but I am confused as to what size springs I need to get to replace the blocks.

To replace the blocks and maintain 10" of lift or are you unsure wether you need 52" - 56" springs? A 1/2T Burb should have 52".

You have to to post some pics of this rig, 10" blocks are absolutly insane!

As you said, PO did it so dont think Im slamming you, just have got to see this. Glad to hear you want to correct that problem.

Yes I want to replace the blocks and keep the 10" lift. But if I do the shackle flip that gives me 4 inches right there so do I only need 6" springs? I will get some pics of the crazy blocks this weekend. I drive it for a year with the blocks till I broke the 10 bolt.

Shop around though, Ebay, CL is a good place as well. You might be able to find some of those parts slightly used.

I havent had a problem with their stuff, not promoting it, just presenting it as a reference.

Well, at least it's all one block. I've seen stacked 4 inch blocks before.
