I think I like this shifter and would like to try one.

Never seen one of this design. Mine comes strait up, rather then to the side like that (at the floorboard).

Any idea what its called or where I would get one?

well its on a 5 speed without overdrive , possibly a low gear, so knowing the transmission specifically would help find a lever if its bought somewhere

I'd like to know what it is and where it came from too. I'm not aware of any factory transmission that used that stick.

The knob I think is from a 90s topkick/Kodiak.

The shift lever itself, I want to say I've seen ones like that in something, but can't recall what.

I spotted the shifter on a Marketplace listing of a truck for sale. I inquired a while ago, and here is what they just said:

"The shift lever is the stock Eaton-Fuller cut down in length to fit the cab"

Does that sound right? If so, will it work on a 77 K5?

Oh, so it's a lever from a much bigger rig. With a 90's GM knob of course.

Eh. VanderHaags is a good source for truck parts, but they just throw a dart at numbers to determine a price. Some stuff is very reasonable, but some stuff is outrageous.

I would say it's a 70's early 80's medium duty truck. That's the shift pattern for the 5 speed for sure from like a c60/70. Ours had a shifter boot so I can't remember what the base looked like.
