It’s just the front cross member or engine crossmember. Some might refer to it as the engine cradle.

Good question
Subframe is a complete front frame unit that is removable from the car, usually on unibodies that don’t have a full frame.

I believe the old gm videos called it the girder beam suspension, if I remember right they highlighted the whole crossmember. 2wd front crossmember I would say.

Also could technically be a subframe since it can be unbolted as a whole assembly, other than upper control arms I think?
