What have you done to your square lately??

Some late night painting. I got the base coat of Skyline Blue applied. This was my first time working with Bondo as you can tell from the front wheel well. I'm sure the 2nd and 3rd coat will fill everything in and make it smooth as glass.

Looking good! Body work is not something that can be taken lightly, takes lots of practice, patience and determination. Also when in doubt, one gets inventive when disguising imperfections Looks like you are doing just fine.

Wow, you've had quite the B-body process going on! Shame about the '68, that could be a really sweet car with another $15-20k dumped into it to get the body up to snuff but that bronze '69 is super nice! I love that color, hopefully he'll get it painted and done soon

The 68 certainly has potential, but I think the biggest hurdle is the owner doesn’t love the car, he likes it I guess, but the reason he has it to begin with was to fit in with his buddies for their Mopar “poker runs.” Add in all of the bad and misguided work (imo) that’s been done to it, with basically nothing to improve drivability for how he uses it. There’s a lot of money in that car in stuff it doesn’t need, or for me, would be far lower on the priority list. Had he been guided better by others a lot of this headache would have been avoided I think.

I honestly think the car probably wasn’t too terrible before it was “redone” and probably was a pretty decent base to have made a good car from, had the focus been in the right places.

Greg’s 69, it went down to GA about ten years ago to the installation center (iirc, one of those places in GA) and received a whole bunch of new AMD metal so it’s very nice. It’s very nice to be under it as nothing is falling in my face. The main hurdle is the rear window trim doesn’t fit and sit quite right, but other than that there is a few spots that need touch up on the body work, wiped down, masked, sealer sprayed and color. It’s very close. The T7 saddle bronze color (imo) is really an excellent color.

Applied some magical ceramic wax and drove it home, then dropped it and the Ram off for a safety inspection to renew the tags.

It's Holley overhaul time, to finally be rid of that dadgum Edelbrock on my '79 crew cab. Just a basic 600 cfm, but it's what I have available right now and it'll do.

All assembled, with a quick change secondary spring kit. Plus some other odds and ends that may or may not get installed before the Richmond meet. I'm very short on time.
