Decided to throw some manual hubs on to replace the stock autos for a couple of reasons.......1, there's a clicking/clunking noise in 4wd that's pissing me off and 2, I had a $20 coupon about to expire and a 30% off code on top of it. $30 for hubs ain't bad. My passenger side stocker was oddly loose.
I'm curious if they're better than stock, though, for the price. I kinda doubt they'll stop the noise.

"This is pretty much slave labor, dad. I just want to go look at that robin bird nest, not work on your car. The mom bird has eggs now. I bet her butt really hurts.
Oh, and when I'm old enough to drive, can you not pick out my car for me? I don't really like cars like this".
Haha.....
I made this girl. lol....

I hear ya, big ten.
I remember one of the first big jobs me and my dad did.....a rear main seal in a Ford van.
We were in his work garage for like 10hrs straight. I was pretty tired by the end of it, but I learned a lot. I was maybe 10? Looking back, it was a hell of a good time. Haha...
****, man, it was crazy back then. We were poor as hell. I remember getting Chilton manuals from the library and my dad would be really careful not to get grease on the pages. Lol... Good times.

Welp, just figured out my front end noise.
******* drivers side u-joint. No doubt about it. I figured as much.
Looks like its spicer/Miller time. Lol....
Now I need to decide how far I want to go with this. Ugh.

Reminds me of that time I did u's in one of my jeeps and i needed a hand from my ex's son. I asked him to help me and his mom said "cars aren't really his hobby".
See, @HotRodPC ? I can pick ***** as well (or even better) than you. Haha.....

Started the reconstruction of my flatbed. Trying to keep it low to an extent.

I just took a beer break from this front end job.
I'll tell you what, that spindle was stuck tight as hell.
But then I remembered the prayer thread and thought "hmm....could it work?".
So I prayed. And by god that rusted spindle fell right off!

Dont tell anyone I used a Taiwanese chromed socket on my impact, k?
Taiwan isn't even spelled correctly on it. Two n's. Not even kidding. I'm surprised it didn't break just attaching it to my gun, but it zipped all those nuts off.

This joint is ******* toast. I had to practically stand on it to bend it one way, but there's about a quarter inch of slack on the other side. lol....
I'm gonna let it soak for a second before I tackle that inevitable pain in the ass.

So any tips to getting this joint out? I haven't started yet. Took a beer and snus break.
I've done a few before, just not on a k10. Usually it just involves a bfh, a screwdriver, a torch, and some anger and cursing.

Thanks for the luck, brother.
Believe me, I needed it. Those few jeep jobs I did seemed like a walk in the park compared to this sumbitch.
