It's a GM Corporate 10 bolt with an 8.5" ring gear. The bolts are standard thread. The front diff has a slightly different shaped cover, because the housing is shaped a little different on the top side.
Wax the chrome cover often, or it will quickly rust. Also seal it with RTV, not a gasket.
