I believe that can be done and it's a dang good idea. There are other sites that have the same issue. I'll look into it and see what can be done.

Unfortunately I don't believe I have any pictures of any of the square body Burbs; we lost the vast majority of our family photos in a house fire several years ago. I'll have to dig around the trailer, I think there is one album in there that has some old truck pictures.

Yessir. It's a constant "fight" of moving misc threads out of that section because of lazy posters not seaking out the proper section. It's essentially a dumping ground because it's the first subforum and I'm constantly spending time cleaning it up.


And this issue exists in all the forums where you added that subforum. It can be quite time consuming to clean up messes made by the lazy.

I have tweaked the settings in the How To section.

If any of the staff here has a second, non-moderating account, I'd invite you to try posting a reply or a new thread in the How To section.

Just tagged you in an offending thread before I do the “moderating” on the thing.

I moved that thread then updated the settings in the Admin panel to insure only staff can post new threads or replies there.

I believe I've changed the settings correctly. Members should now be able to view threads and replies but cannot create them in the How To section.

Let me know if a non-staff member sneaks in there and posts up something. I'm a bit new to some of the tweaks you can do in the Admin panel.
