The trimming would be the easy part. The newer bumper is swept back to follow the lines of the newer style truck, where as the older trucks are flat across the front. You have to cut a good bit off the bumper to get it strait and tucked in close to the truck but that should be pretty strait forward. The part I would be nervous about would be making strong brackets to hold it on. He made his and the held, but I would make sure they were overkill. I hope this helps.
