Or some can be modified for a 1/8 input directly into the stereo instead of the cassette adapter. I know there are some writeups on the net and I think i saw a couple of the 67-72 board.

I won't be going to the junkyard for a week or two depending on what they get in, I saw two digital ones there though and I may grab them both just to tinker with one.

Me too. When I get another square, I will be making use of a 1989-91 dash so I can run a factory CD player.

I want to kind of tinker with one now...See if I can make a mod I have done to newer decks work. Old77 and 89Suburban both have my modded stereos in their daily rides.
