I need to replace the vent window seals on my 85k20. Who makes the best two piece rubber seal? Any issues with LMC?

Steele Rubber Products, Classic Truck Parts, The Chrome Guy...all are good sources. LmC gets pricey.

I've heard good things about precison but never personally used them. Lots of horror stories out there about poor fitting LMC ones though.

I ordered the classic truck parts vent window seal kit. They said I should have it in about two weeks. When I get them I'll post on how they are. ( probably come from the same supplier as LMC)

Little late on this, but I'll give you my 2 cents anyway. My vent window seals were shot so I ordered the LMC ones. Didn't have time to install them so I had a body shop put them in. They didn't fit at all. Couldn't even get the window to close all the way. After using a heat gun and then a lot of black silicone they now seal and don't make wind noise on the highway. Of course I can no longer open them either...

I hate to bad mouth LMC, but I ordered the window kit installed everything except the vent window seals. I ran out of time before I had to head back out for work. Anyway, I was def not impressed with the way the window sweeps fit nor how the window gasket fit. It was very sloppy fit. I think I will try classic truck as I hope to keep the window functional.

If anybody needs one I have 2 NOS LH vent assemblies left for 81-87 trucks....this is a complete assembly-frame, seals and glass. No more RH ones tho.

I'm interested depending on price. What do you want for one LH?

I'm at $450 on them.

For near NOS, I would assume it is worth it. However, it is out of my range. Thanks for the reply though. I've seen them on ebay for about $125 for nice used ones. That will probably be the way I go. Probably match the other side better.

No problem-I understand. I have a pair of nice GM doors and with nice doors I Always "try" to source new weatherstrip seals, channel seals and vent assemblies for them whenever I build a truck.
