The secondary trim goes like this. I believe it was only done on 79-80 trucks. I purchased the OEM style that screw into to door on the ends.

Good afternoon, I am rebuilding a 1976 K10 farm truck (going on 3 1/2 years… slow and steady wins the race). I am attempting to install some PRP vent windows and I have about 3/16” to 1/8” gap between the forward seal of the window seal and the door channel. I contacted PRP and he said “put some kind of foam filler between the main vent frame, and the seal which goes out to the door shell”. I appreciate his help but I don’t know what that means? Do I put the foam tape between seal itself and the door shell? I am having this issue on both the driver and passenger side original doors

I partially rebuilt the original vents to the truck and have the same gap issue. I was wondering if any of y’all have had this issue and what your corrective action was? Thanks for any help
