The correct filter and gasket is AC Delco TF231. It comes in a kit with gasket, seal, and filter. It is the higher flowing filter element. I've had issues installing the filters that say they are correct, but have the filter media visible at the intake hole. Those are too restrictive and will have the pump whining when it is started cold. You can get the kit from Summit, Jegs, Amazon, or any local big box parts store.

Also, when you pull the old filter, make sure the old seal comes out with it. (Green ring). A lot of the time they will slip off the old filter and stay in there. Reach up with a pick and be sure you pull it out before you install the new filter because the new one will go in, but you will shoving the old seal up into the transmission
