Transmission ID

Question for you guys:
I’ve got an 80 GMC C10 with a diesel in it which I assume is the original Oldsmobile concept… I’ve been trying to find out what automatic transmission is behind it any idea?

Look at the trans pan, then search "chevy auto.atic transmission id" and match up. Probably a th350 or 400.

yeah I'm 250 miles away from my farm that i have closed up for the winter (thats where this pickup is) so i can't really look at it for a few weeks...
was hoping there was info on what typically was behind c10 diesel for a tranny... thanks tho

Turbo 350 was the only trans available in a C10 diesel in 1980.
