got another much quicker question looking for the spring width on a full floater 14 bolt,lookin to put 8,000 lb. capacity springs on it they are 3 inches wide and I am lookin at axles from 91 to 2001 in the gmc chevy h.d. category the springs I found online are supposed to fit a ford f 450 and 550 but they a the same 3 inch width of the gmc/chevy hd. which is 3 inches ,can I do this and get away with it ? btw I got a 3/4 ton burb with a 6.2 diesel 2wd a 700 r4 trans. and 3.73 rearend with a semifloat in it now and planning on converting it to a ff 14 bolt.
