ok iv never had a gm truck that i didnt have to pull leaver bang hood like the fonz then open lol annybody got a cure for this? i want to keep this one :grd:

Haha, mine is the same way. I think the way to fix it is adjusting those rubber bump stops out a little bit so there is pressure on the latch.

hmmmm might work... my hood is aldo not even when shut i havent thought about t because im not there yet but when i get to start doing paint and body work and streighten it out i wonder if it will fix

Mine does it too, I think it gives these trucks character and makes you look like the Fonzie like dude said. :roflbow: :roflbow:

I cured mine of that problem...... It's called LUBRICATE the hinges and latch mechanism.... :D

I cured mine of that problem...... It's called LUBRICATE the hinges and latch mechanism.... :D

...and make sure everything is properly adjusted of course. But usually they just need a lube job.

what struts will hold it up our hoods are prety heavy no? ooooo these http://www.autoloc.com/catalog/Linear-Actuators/Linear-Actuators jeese they got one thats rated for 500 lbs! i could just weld the whole front clip together and have 1 of those swing it up lol no more fonz..... course down the line i will forget to lube and hafta fonz it anyways lol
