Th350...th400...700r4

290hp 350, 4" lift with 35s and 4.10 gears.

Which tranny is best to use?

Just smoked my 4mnth old tranny due to poor installation. Passenger side bell housing bolts vibrated out or loose or broke off so tranny was separated by 1/8" and it tore itself and converter up.

Had a 700r4 and replaced with such thinking the OD helps with fuel efficiency....

33s would be absolutely perfect for 4:10s and a 700r4 but with 35s it should do ok too.

35s, 3:73s and a th400 with 290 hp would work really good too.

If for purely off road purposes 35s a th400 and 4:10s is perfect!

I have been really thinking Im gonna go with 35s 3:73s and a th400 for my next set up. That way 33s are doable as well.
