Almost doesn't look like de-laminated clutch material, looks more like old gasket material pieces and some muck from a radiator trans cooler.

What gasket could that come from because the pan gasket looked perfectly in good shape

With a nearly 30 year old truck, hard to tell how many pan gaskets it's been through. Could also be valve body gasket material but I think you would notice if one of those were going bad. If it still pulls good and the fluid isn't turning brown or black I say keep on rockin it.

Defiantly not the original trans. It was rebuilt a while back but I don't know how many miles are on it. It had a 6.2 with a granny 4-speed for the original drivetrain. But I think you are right, after studying that picture those pieces almost look to big to be parts of a clutch
