Ok, putting my th350 back together finally.
I have 2 books, one says clearance is .010-.080, some builders perfer keeping clearance to .010-.025- ron sessions book.
The other says clearance is .020-.040, any tighter it will creep in drive.- sa design workbench series.
My forwards spec out at about .056 with a wave plate installed.
And .020 with 2 used steels inplace of the wave plate.
Both are correct in one book and one is out of spec in the other or too tight.
Any expierence, and advice appreciated.
Transmission is being ran with a 2500stall converter
