th350 detent or kick down cable

When the previous owner slapped the 1406 600cfm Eddy on the 350 they home made a little tab shall we say. I haven't driven the truck as of yet but I am curious on how the detent cable should be hooked up and or adjusted.

At WOT(pedal to the floor)the cable should be at full travel.

Ok, undo the cable and have someone push the pedal to the floor, pull the cable out to it's full travel and tighten it, you're done..

Ok, undo the cable and have someone push the pedal to the floor, pull the cable out to it's full travel and tighten it, you're done..
