TBI to carb process

It's an 89 v3500 DWR 4x4 cab/chassis. From my understanding they are made with some of the newer electronics/smog from the GMT series and body/chassis parts from squarebodies.

So even tho it's an 89, I have the single square headlights from earlier trucks, as one example I found. Makes part scrounging fun.

... you might be lucky enough to have a carburetor spread bore 4 bbl intake with a factory adapter. My buddy's 88 454 had one of those. Thatd make swapping to carb easier.

Do you happen to know the casting numbers associated with that type of intake for part matching?

I dont know them off hand but I can stop my friends house and get part number and/or pictures.
You'll know right away if you have one, look at your truck and look under the TBI. If there's a weird looking 1-1½ invh thick spacer with a coolant hose coming out of it, you have one.

Just this one. Can get more this weekend when I'm back home if you tell what areas might help this research. Currently has a Pimpco Propane fogger that I am in the middle of removing.

Yessir, that's it. That means you have a spread bore 4bbl carburated style intake under that.
