I'm getting 20-22MPGs average with my 350 TBI. :hidesbehindsofa:

Noooo !?!?!? Really? That good? I would think 17-20 in a shortbed standard cab. I'd be tickled shitless to get 20 out of a square. GMT400's are lighter than squares by a little. And a little more aerodymanic too.

Surprises the hell out of me too. I put in 305 injectors as it was running way rich (it's a 350, the codes and casting check out) and since then it's been getting awesome MPGs. Even with the A/C on, with 2 people (Frank is a witness) and a bed full of parts, we were getting 24 on the highway.

Damn, That's good mpg. New trucks don't do that well.

I was getting 20 out of my 92 C1500 with a 5.7 tbi too. Have thought about putting another one like it together. I miss that little truck.

Makes me wonder what kind of mileage to expect out of my 88.

I got great mileage out of mine before it screwed up and with 3.42's and NO oD as well.

I just got tired of trying to figure mine out, mine killed out after the complete tbi rebuild just started acting up bad.

My hopes are to find someone with a good running and working tbi system, and send them my tb unit to try and see how it does, AFTER I switch to carb. Then I just plan to sell the tbi stuff.

If it's a stock motor I'd probably go with the TBI if I had all the parts for it. Otherwise I'd stay with the carb.

I really like the TBIs for the daily driving. I just got through a spat with my '90 burb where I was convinced the TBI was doing me wrong, turns out it was a combined coolant sensor and distributor problem. After miles and miles of no worry driving, I really like the things.

Where's a good place to get replacement injectors from for my 87 V20, motor is a rebuilt 5.7. A rebuild kit would be nice to have also. I remember there was a website that we could order from a couple years ago that had good parts at a fair price.
