Tailgate piece

Hey there. Crawling underneath and doing some wiring I saw this piece of the tailgate that seems to be broken.

The photos are from underneath. Any ideas how to fix or where to get another??? This must be some sort of support rod holder?

Any info would help

That's the support bracket for the tailgate assist torsion rod. That's actually about how it is supposed to look.
