Question: I have a 330 magnum polaris ATV. Can I load it into my K15 GMC? Will the tailgate hold that weight? Is there any aftermarket help? Has a stock tailgate no modification. Thanks

polaris sportsman x2 550 HO
8' bed but have a tool box taking up the front.
didn't strain one bit having the back wheels on the tailgate
wheels put the weight out toward the 'straps' and that helps rather than a single point of weight right in the middle of the gate.

1985 K20 w/HD option.
(same 'strength' tailgate i'm sure)

i have a harbor freight trifold aluminum ramp i use.

good luck

No problem. Trifold Ramps, or a ditch lol. Definitely not indestructible, most squares have a bowed tailgate.
