It was the old school flasher. I bought the newer flasher that has a ground lead running off of it. Fixed.....

I had to add resistors to my headlamps in my 1983 Toyota to get the high beam indicator to functions. I used a kit from Headlight Experts. THey had terrible customer service reviews, but I found their tech to be really great to work with.
The 1983 Toys are always starved for amperage unless you do a GM 2 wire conversion. I did not want to do this. a full LED conversion bought me back a lot.
