Of course it could be a 1990 tire, which would mean it is only 30 years old and not 40 years old.

by what i can tell, the original 5 tires are long gone.

The car is a 77 with a spare that is 1980 and a set that are dated 80 and 87 (diff front to back)
My guess is because the car is 80k miles or so original, and was parked in 88, it had the original tires replaced abd a set put on. Then 5 were replaced(or 4, idk) in 1980 when it had about 32k miles, then in 1987 2 new were put on the back and the good one left put as the spare.

So it was on its 3rd set of tires, technically, if you count the 2 as a set.

I havent got this car road worthy yet, so no it does not run these yet haha. Before I use it on the road im getting new tires FOR SURE.

If I can use 14s with my brakes, i might put those olds super stocks on that i have in really good shape, but painted first. If i can fit a 14. IF I cant fit 14, ill put new 15s on these wheels.

So yeah, im not using these tires for road driving ANY time soon lmao
