I've never seen those type of trusses with the skids on them, how do they mount? Are they both fronts? Curiosity mostly.

If Don wants the rear 1/2 ton truss, I'd like the front 1/2 ton truss. Will it fit in similar size box as the steering column or is it a good bit longer?

The ones with the skid plates, attach with the brackets that wrap around the tubes, there is a front and rear, the front one is the longer one, and the rear is the shorter, they might not be true axle trusses, more like skid plates.

Shawn, I will take the rear 1/2 ton one. I am interested in the other rear skid plate just out of curiosity. How much for both? If you want to send them to Andy that would be fine with me and I can drive up and visit.

Andy, if I buy both I will pay most of the shipping if you buy the 1/2 ton front. If I just buy the 1/2 ton rear, I will split the shipping and still make the drive. Would this work for you? If not then Shawn can figure shipping costs to 26101.

^ I just reread this and I am wondering if it made sense to all involved?:Insane: I was trying to figure out a way that would be easiest for Shawn to ship. Send me a PM so we can figure out details.:)

The front axle truss that I have is identical to the ones for the 3/4 ton that are pictured. It came off of my neighbor's 1984 truck that he had back in the early 90's. His truck was a 1/2 ton so I know it fits a GM Corp housing.

Mr. Clean, I'm interested in the grill. How much are you looking for on that?

Quite a bit longer, the axles trusses are about as wide as a axle. See what you and Don can work out, I can ship all together, or separate, it is up to y'all.

Whatever works for Don is fine with me. If everything gets sent here it's a really good excuse to meet up again, whether it's him coming here or me going there.

P.S. to Don, I found a couple of those washer fluid caps today, lol.

It's up to y'all, just saying it would be easier to ship all to one place. Cheaper too. I'll have to go on the hunt for a big enough box. Might have to make one.

Sounds like I will be making a trip up.:) That's OK my son needs the driving time. Keep one of those caps handy for me. The one you gave me did not work as the cap supply nipple was too small. Go figure...

Shawn you can send it to Andy. Andy, I will pay on shipping. Just let me know. Does that sound like a plan?
