I am posting on behalf of my professor. His truck was stolen on approximately March 10, 2018 from his shop at Georgetown Lake, MT. It is a 1978 k10 Chevy Bonanza that has a 2007 5.3 LM7 swapped into it. If you guys see it anywhere or on craigslist, or have any information please let me know and I will relay it back to him.

Thanks everyone

Dammit, I hate thieves. I'll see about getting this moved to the Stolen Squares BOLO thread.

It's in the TECH Section as a Sticky. Probably ought to be somewhere else to be better categorized but we figured it being the only sticky there and grab some attention.

Maybe make it a section in itself? Make it a sticky in that section with no new post available? Sorry.....maybe a bit overboard, but I wont say what I want about thieves....

We've had it forever. It's in the TECH Section as a STICKY all on it's own. We figured most would see the Tech section and it wouldn't be sharing with other STICKIES and why it's there. I've already added it.

I always wonder when these trucks get stolen now if they towed it away or drove away with it. Odds around about 99 % they drove away. It's why I'm planing on putting a interrupt circuit on ignition somewhere (maybe more than one, lol)...

One guy I know, his truck got hit and totalled. Insurance paid off. He went and used the funds for down payment on a beautiful full body off frame rotisserie rebuild. No detail left untouched and had a Haggerty Valuation on it at this Classic car dealership. It was stolen after 4 days from his work in a Hospital parking garage. It was all on video. They guy carried a little hand bag that was like a little make up pouch. He was in that truck picking the door lock in about 45 seconds. Once in the truck, less than 1 minute he was driving off. Under 2 minutes start to finish and gone. Truck never found. Likely ended up in Mexico.

A friend of mine just completed a restoration on a 72 blazer, he added a toggle to interrupt the coil power.

Man, this just sucks out loud.

I always find it hard to imagine somebody stealing one of these old dogs, but I guess I'll be looking at an interrupt switch for mine too.

...at noon, downtown, for all to see.

Or just bring back the guillotine.

How about we tie their arms and legs to four squarebodies all going different directions?
