Until now I never noticed the difference in the side glass between models. I think your '92 body is the best of both worlds.

With the square not running, and my trailer being full of s**w and the TB being too short, the Olds got to make a trip to Lowe's for a couple sheets of 4x8. It goes from 30 to over the 55mph posted speed very quickly (cough cough 80 cough) and rides damn good. Gave it a full tank of fuel, it has a 22 gallon tank and took between 19.3 gallons and the low fuel light did come on, but it was no worry. Speakers are bad, but they're probably original.

Could have a Buick radio because it was built in April 92 so its one of the last ones made, not sure.

I do too, one of my neighbors has a 92 Olds CC, sadly it appears to have a fair amount of rust.

About brought a tear to Mike's eye when I posted this on facebook. This is the stereo we believe it's supposed to have.

Sad, that's a 91 and looks like the 92 Mike used to have.

Like I said, wouldn't be surprised if the reason why mine has a Buick radio is because its a late production car.

sad that a wagon with that low of mileage in such good shape would end up in a place like that :(

....and I just realized it has missouri plates on it :(

So... What were your reasons for trying to find a wagon optioned out like this and of the particular year?

I just wanted one, mostly a cloth seat, 350 towpack car and found this Olds. The Buicks are more common and I like the design of the dash better in the Buick and Olds wagons over the Caprice. The TBI cars have better quality interiors than the LT-1 cars did too and stock for stock perform the same thanks to the higher gears in the LT-1 cars, 2.56 and 2.93 in towpack cars vs 3.08 and 3.23 in the TBI.

I am not into these cars as others, but I have always wanted to do an "SS" wagon like what Retro posted! I almost bought an LT-1 equipped wagon a couple of years ago. Didn't realize they had crap for gears. Imagine having some 3.73's... :)

Shaved roof rack, shaved tailgate, rollpan, badges on the side, rear wiper delete, tailpipes, tint and SS wheels. That's gotta be a 91-94 by the small mirrors, its a BBW too, Big Black Wagon. WB4 wood delete, more common on Caprice wagons than Buicks, Olds never got the wood vinyl appliques. Mines a BBW too. Big Blue Wagon and we know Retro's taste in women...
