So I was replacing my starter today, forgot to take a picture of the wiring, and now I cannot wire my new starter right. Has three wires all together; one big wire, to other wires together, one being very small, and the other is a little bigger. Solenoid has two big connections one top and bottom. They're both pretty big and the one on the bottom has a screw that goes into it. Then the two connections on the side are small, one labeled r the other s. Kinda new at this just bear with me.

B Terminal 3/8" - 16 Positive battery cable. Also has an additional two wires (usually red and protected with a fusible link) connected to this stud. They branch off and feed power to various other circuits.

S Terminal #8-32: Wired to the ignition switch START terminal. This is often a purple colored wire.

That should be it. Nothing goes to the R or M terminals:

Ok, so the biggest wire of them all is going to go to the b terminal. The other two wires that are together both go on to the s terminal together?

Ok, so the biggest wire of them all is going to go to the b terminal. YEP

There should be two red wires (possibly spliced together)- they go on the B terminal along with the big black

And the purple goes on the S terminal.

So - B gets the black and two reds. S gets the purple.

A couple of images (do not go by my colors - I am extremely color deficient)

Thank you for your help, the illustrations really helped me as well. I ended up getting it all back together then found our that my battery was dead as well. I replaced both components and now she is back up and running again.
