You touch the teardrop arrow and a member's name shows up. From there you can contact them

I believe you can.
I tend to sign out of google products whenever possible since they are the worst when it comes to privacy, so I don't know if you can save it to your Saved Places or whatever within Google Maps because you have to be signed in to use those. I just save it as a bookmark in my internet browser so its easy to return to at a later date.
