You can use phosphoric acid on it, but some painters say not to. If it's scuffed back down properly I've never seen problems, but you can search for it on here/other places.

Satin colors are very difficult to maintain. Charcoal gray with a light metal flake is my vote. I just had my square painted and went with a light blue, non metallic. All of the paint shops that bid my job ( I went to 7 shops) were against matte colors due to the overall maintenance. If you have a lot of body work to cover, the lighter colors will help. Prep is always the key to a fantastic paint job. You may want to do a google search if you are undecided on colors. In the end, it only matters if you like the color since it's your truck.
