Spare tire carrier

The style that bolts to the side of the bed will not work for my Blazer; between the rear seat and the wheel well there is not enough room for a spare tire. Also the “bed” in mine is finished with trim panels that I don’t want to cut or drill.

The later style bracket mounts the spare tire to the side area, but not to the bedside itself. It bolts to the floor and the wheel tub. There's a good amount of space between the tire and the inner trim panel. It can kind of be seen in this old picture of mine, with the carpeted cover over the spare tire.

That one should have a 3rd arm that goes to the bedside, but it bolts up top with one of the bolts for the top

if in a pick N pull, or shopping catalogs I wonder if a early 1990s s10 -s15 blazer type vehicle would have such a thing
(as those too had the interior hogging spare inside)

I had no idea they were just 3 pieces of stamped steel.

Seems like a certain metal reproduction company could replicate that...
Sounds like a call-out for the local AMD handle...

Once you pointed it out, I can see that top one in my own picture I posted, lol.
