Hi I’m a new member and I need some help. 1977 k30 4x4 sm465. I took out the 350 and replaced with a built gen6 454, new Luk flywheel and spec clutch from summit. New fork and throwout bearing for 77 k30. My throwout bearing is too far from the clutch. Do I need a different fork, pivot ball or bearing? Old clutch was the 3 finger type and new clutch is diaphragm. I know I’m missing something just don’t no what, this is my first 465. Thanks in advance.

Welcome from the Texas Panhandle.

It could be that your new flywheel is thinner than stock. If so, you might look into a McLeod adjustable throwout bearing.
