I am redoing a really good 87 resto.....with one exception, the plastic chrome bodyside molding strips don't match real good. Some of the strips have wider black stripes than others (near the top and bottom of the molding). I am planning on removing all of them with a hair dryer, and buying a roll of the plastic molding (from lmc truck) to do them all the same. Has anybody out there replaced any of these things? How hard is this stuff to cut....what do you use to cut it? How difficult are they to stick on? Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks, Doc

I would get the pre-cut molding set, it's sometimes hard to cut the stuff on a roll, and look like a factory cut. You will want to reuse the original formed moldings at the rear corners of the bed.
