Starting at the rotary valve and worm screw hole, go ahead and put in the conical washers (peak side DOWN) in the bottom of the bore.

Reassemble your rotary valve... Alot of o rings and Teflon seals in it, along with bearings and such... Just take it apart, and replace everything that's a seal, bearing, or o ring. Lol

OK, time for the ball bearings, take the half tube off, time for some fun.
Yes, theyre different, by just a little.
Insert the plunger, again watch the seal!
Take a brass rod and knock it so you can kinda turn it facing you. Now begin inserting the ball bearings, alternating between the sizes (if you're paranoid about .0007-.0008)

Run it close to the bottom of the worm screw, begin inserting, this isn't extremely easy, every time you put one in, slightly turn the steering shaft, work the plunger from the bottom to the top while inserting ball bearings....

So hopefully, after you've drank 10 beers, maybe can't spell anymore, you've gotten the ball bearings in, and it'll move full travel of the steering....

Remember these? Stick those down in the sector shaft hole. Bearing first, larger seal, washer, then smaller seal.

EDIT: there's a second washer that goes beneath the 2nd seal and the snap ring....

Center up your gears....... You'll do a little fiddling, but it should slide in after a little movement in the steering shaft...

Lastly, insert the O ring that seals the plunger, put in the aluminum plate, and put in your big snap ring.

Test her out... Make sure you have the full turn... If not.... Gonna promise you it's the ball bearings being a pain in the ass... That's the most difficult part.
