And if you have breather cap holes in both valve covers, you might just run 2 down draft tubes. One off each side. This way you're letting the pressure escape at lower pressure and may blow less oil that way.

I have a breather and oil fill tube on the passenger side and just the pcv on the driver side. I'll try this with some cheap sae 40

10-4. At this point anything you can do to decrease the crankcase pressure will be best. Possibly even with letting it escape in more places, the less oil might get slung and blown out. I'd imagine you're just getting compression escaping from the cylinders into the crankcase.
