It shocks me no one makes it. I know it was not nearly as common as the other Silverado style trim but come on. I have seen people use the universal molding stuff but you still would need the spear and tail ends that I cant find.

Wow , had no idea they were hard to find. Luckily I've had all 4 pieces if mine hanging on a hook in my shop ever since we put a repaint on it 31 years ago.

^^^^^^^^Nope 2 front spears and 2 rear caps and mine are metal. Have seen the front spear made by cutting the vinyl to come to a point, but ya gotta be good to do that.

I'm talking about end caps NOT molding. The spear end on the front fender and the square end cap at the rear of the molding on the bed, NOT the complete molding. Have seen some kits for the molding that are very close and sold by the foot?

I see your talking about just the ends I never really paid it any mind till I got a Scottsdale and all of mine was missing and wasn't able to find any of it.

So, the fender section is 2 pieces the pointed end and a straight piece? Not one long section?

It might have varied by year? I've seen more than one truck that had just the vinyl moulding and no end caps. The front "spear" was formed with a simple curved pie cut (and bonded) and the rear was just simply cut off moulding.

I could be wrong but I think it was just on solid color trucks and not two-tone. I personally like it a lot and when I paint my 79 K10 (black primer right now) back to the original Mystic Silver that black molding sure would look good.

I would like to put it back on my Sierra if I could. It was listed on the RPO, however, it wasn't there when I got it.

I've seen similar but not exact moldings. Can't remember the website.
