So seen a Facebook post for sbc 350 for sale for 200 bucks and came with some headman long tube headders, I know it was a deal alone on the headers so I think I scored. Has 2 different numbers heads but same type I believe. Dont know on the insides yet. I was thinking of putting the heads and intake on my 87 TBI and getting a adapter plate for the TBI to bolt up to and use the headers

I dont know why it double posted the head pics, dose it mater that one is a 6 digit and one is a 7 digit. Also the guy I got it from said it slowly lost oil pressure when he did his first breakin fire up but got a 454 for a deal and used that instead. What would cause the oil pressure loss

I think the one head is just missing the first digit. Screwups happen.

A teardown is needed to see what damage there is. I think the price paid is ok.

What kind of damage should I be looking for, this is my first time.

Mainly I'm looking to put the heads, intake, and headers on my 87 v20 manual trans

Personally, I wouldn't consider those heads an upgrade.

Not even from my stock 191 swirl port heads

Nope.

The swirl ports do a specific job well. All the badmouthing they get, is from the same folks that will happily bad mouth the early smogger heads.

Well got the block on a stand and pulled the oil pan, block is a 4 bolt main, and all 8 conecting rods got some slop to them on the crank, pulled the cap off one rod to look at the bearing, cap side has some light scarring but the rod side Is showing copper. Camshaft looks fine, and has a timing gear setup, what will I look for to tell if he cam is stock or aftermarket

There should be a number stamped into the end of the cam that you can reference.
