replacing 700r4 tv cable seal (throttle valve)

Does anyone have tips on how to replace the tv cable seal on the transmission without disconnecting the cable from the engine?

my worry is that I won't be able to get it back together without some help and I don't know if it is even possible to replace it without totally disconnecting the tv cable

worst case you have to remove it from the carb as well

yeah then have to reset the dang cable which I'm trying to avoid, well al I can do is jump in and try to fix it
