Going with the rear roll pan and show truck look on my stepside. Thinkin of doing away with the factory rear lights.

Was thinking of running the LED strip kit from LMC that runs below the tailgate.

Or in the roll pan but not sure if I want to drill into it to mount lights

Any Input

It would all depend if you wanted low profile mounted on the front of rear mounted for a flush fit.. Lots of options out there.. The big question is your taste on what type of lights to buy... More choices then tastes.. I like LED's but not on these old girls.. I would look at flush fitting lights on cars at the wreckers.. put out the whole light fixture, heck even the panel if possible.. Like the Cobalt lights. some fiberglass work and fit in real night. wiring is easy..

Cool deal. Just not to sure about that work. But im sure a body shop can do it. Or I can try my hand at doing it. Was thinking the LED lights for that show truck look. But not sure if the strip would work properly or give off enough light

I'm going flush mount LEDs all around. I can tell you now they are not cheep and are a pain in the ass to install. I paid 125.00 for a pair to do my front marker lights. Going to do the rear markers, roll pan with dual per side 7 1/2 inch LED's and had a custom one built to do a third brake/cargo light in the back of the cab. The guy who did my custom LED is no longer in business.

Here is the marker lights.
