I started receiving the lamp sockets I ordered from rock auto today..

The ones for the turn indicator have three leads, black (ground), yellow (brighter), and brown (less bright)...

Nothing to tell me which lead is for the park light, and which for the turn indicator...

I 'suspect' that the yellow lead, which feeds the shorter/longer/brighter filament is for the turn circuit, while the brown, which feeds the taller/shorter/less bright filament is for the parking light...

Have I got it right? I don't want to do this twice...

Thanks,
Mark

The answer is easy, if you can remember this simple logic:

Yellow is for the lefties. (left turn/brake filament)
Green is always right. (right turn/brake filament)
Brown is for everybody. (parking lights)
Your black is ground. White is usually ground on trailers..

Works on all trailer wiring I have ever seen and your square.
