OK. I have a 1992 GMC with a TBI 350 that is fixing to go to the scrapyard. I want to convert my 87 R10 4.3 V6 to a serpentine setup. Would this be possible?

This is my current setup:

I want to go to this (minus the AC compressor since my truck doesnt have AC)

I already do know I will need the adapter in order to use the CS 130 Alternator as stated in this thread (Clicking this link will take you to cs 130 alt upgrade)

I also have to replace the water pump and I need to know if I need the one for the R10 or the one for the 1992 GMC model.

And let me know anything else I need to do this swap. Thanks

Water pump for a 92 and everything will swap over. Have to move the ac compressor over just for the pulley or install ac delete. Make sure to move the clutch fan as well

That water pump isn't any good either. I need a new one.
Do I get one for the 87 R10 or do I get one for the 92 GMC?

What else do you think I need for this?
What about the power steering pump?

The brackets are alightly different and the clocking of the pump it self is different. The 92 pump would move with the brackets together.

The 92 pump will connect to the 87 Power steering pumps hoses?

got another quick question:

Will the radiator in my 92 fit my 87?
I noticed today I have a cold water leak near the top of the passenger side tank.

It is not a direct fit. Can be made to fit.

Can be made to fit?
Do you mean a different fan shroud?
This truck has the V6 so It uses the deeper fan shroud compared to the 92 which has a V8.

There many different options for the radiator. Best is to measure size and compare if the v6 shroud will fit on 92 radiator.

What creative options does Gm Square Body have to offer me?

The 92 Radiator is wider then the one currently in my truck. My core support has the place to put the rubbers for a wider radiator but my fan shroud is too narrow to catch the ends of the 92's radiator.

Ill take pictures tomorrow.
