What creative options does Gm Square Body have to offer me?

The 92 Radiator is wider then the one currently in my truck. My core support has the place to put the rubbers for a wider radiator but my fan shroud is too narrow to catch the ends of the 92's radiator.

Ill take pictures tomorrow.

zip ties and duct tape

Some work on aluminum stock and rivets would make it fit, just depends of what you can work with.

Got another question:

Is it better to have the fan clutch or have the fan direct driven?

Here is a picture of my old radiator installed with the 92s radiator sitting near it for comparison.

See how much wider it is? The shroud isn't wide enough to catch the mounting rubbers on the top.

Easier to replace with correct radiator, but using sheet metal stock can rivet extensions on existing shroud to cover the rest of the radiator. It might not be nesessary if everything is secured well. Just leave the shroud in the middle of the radiator.

And good clutch fan is more efficient.

OK Thanks for answering all my questions.
Do you think I can make a fan shroud from a GMT400 with the 4.3 fit my truck?
