This is just a friendly, informative post. I wanted to share pictures of the front kit I installed. In my experience, history has shown, when a company says "it bolts right on, no modifications required", it's complete ********. I always find myself making adjustments and fabrication tweaks. This is NOT the case with QA1's front cross member! It bolted in the frame with ease. Very satisfied with the fit and finish. In addition, everyone I talked with at QA1 was super helpful and pleasant. Well done.

I just got done putting in their upper lower control arm coil over kit and the swaybar kit in my 87. Mine definitely needed a few modifications but they tell you that. Nothing too crazy. Instructions were ok. I found a youtube video from a guy called " Hammers Garage" that honestly was the most helpful out of everything. I'm still working on putting the steering back together. I agree its good stuff and I don't see how anyone would be unhappy with the purchase. The build looks great so far! What rear end are you going with?

Quick Performance Ford 9" with Tru-Trac 3.88 gears, Willwood Brakes. Quick Performance is out of Des Moines, IA. They welded the perches on the bottom side of the rear-end for me, so I did not need the "flip kit" brackets. Also, good people to work with.

Looks good! QA1 bought Detroit Speed away from Holley a couple years back and I just got done installing the DSE front and had the same experience, other than drilling a couple holes that they tell you about, it was truly bolt on

I bought a kit that was a bolt in and found out my frame was cracked at the steering box. Had to buy a frame repair kit. Added more labor but much safer!

I put their upper and lower control arm kit with coil overs under my ‘79 with the anti roll bar. Installed as per instructions and it made it handle like a sports car.

And the QA1front crossmember coil over kit knocks off about 140 lbs. of weight from the stock crossmember. I am excited to see how the rack and pinion steering performs.

I recently ran across Quick Performance from a contributor on YouTube and bought a posi unit for my 78 C10 from them. Ended up calling them directly, as I had some questions and the customer service was great. Spoke to them on three different occasions (sales twice and support once), the second convo was to order the posi and the guy gave me an additional 10% off in addition to my military discount. I'd highly recommend them.
