1982 k20. The truck is my electrical contracting truck and is seeing a lot of highway miles. The engine had a block off plate when bought 7 years ago. I've got a mechanical temp gauge in the manifold where a broken switch was. I also have a broken switch in the tstat neck.
Anybody see any problems with screwing a ported switch in the neck and running vac lines back to a new valve? I know I could follow the engine sticker but there are several interconnecting devices I don't have and won't be reconnecting.
