All done, the one main I didn't check before is all delaminated lol.

Get a set of new mains and rods and send it.

Got the carb intake on my 5.3 for testing, will put this on the 6.0 and jam that into my K20. If I'm going to get lowballed on Marketplace over an engine I don't care about until I scrap it, may as well be the 350. Will have to swap the cam in the 6.0, it's a bit rowdy for the stock Th400 converter.

Fancy CNC ported heads showed up, can get them from Hank Slocum, can find him on 8.8L PSI Big Block Chevy World Facebook group, flow a little over 330 CFM on the intake and 220 on the exhaust.

Between the cold and screwing around buying Bobcats, be a good month before I'm ready to install them, but excited to have them.

Cam and bearings on the way, tried like hell to find a way out of 550 bucks for a Comp cam, but big block Chevy roller cams haven't made their way to Maxspeedingrods catalog yet lol.

Cam is Comp 11-451-8, XM 284 HR. 284/290 adv, 230/236 @ 0.050, .547/.547, 579/579 with the 1.8 factory rockers, 112 LSA. Should match the intake well, interesting how much like a Sloppy Stage 2 LS cam it is, on an engine with 200 more cubic inches lol.

I too am watching with intrigue. Seems like a good way to get a lot of cubes for a reasonable price.

I don't think it'll set the world on fire or anything, that intake will keep it from breathing much above 6000 rpm, cam is appropriate for a 540 in that range.

I'm expecting maybe 500 tire, probably 600+ of tq.

Should make for a nice, lazy, tire fryer. As opposed to the violent light switch power I have now.
