I stumbled across this ad today. I bought one a few years ago for my 85. If you like the looks/function of a visor this is a good option that is still available as the old ones are difficult to find and often need lots of love to bring them back to life. They also have the option for built in cab lights without hacking holes in your roof.

The cab light kit is cheesy. But at least it has provisions to give you a start. The socket don't fit. I bought one from summit 10-15 years ago, pretty nice piece though

I never had a problem with the lights. I like the recessed lens. The quality is very nice like you say. In AZ where the sun is directly overhead and intense, it made a big difference in shading the dash. It probably dropped my mpg by .0001 mpg but I made up for it by spending thousands of $$$ on the EFI and NV4500! :D

Like I said 10+ years ago so I'm sure they changed lol. Good quality otherwise! It makes the inside visors almost useless except for like 30-45 minutes of the day haha
