My wife’s 85 C10 Silverado has had a clear garbage bag “window” since 2022. Power doors, of course, with the fugly switches/panels. Time to fix it for good…

My 85 C60 Custom Deluxe has crank windows and decent door panels.

The C60 is a parts roach. How do I swap power door guts out for manual door guts? Is is really as simple as yank everything out of the C10 doors and bolt the C60 parts right in? Same glass/track or swap over? Same latch rods interior/exterior handles? Use the manual door latch rods?

2 of our 3 trucks with power windows and locks have issues with them. Time to go old school with all 3… Thanks

Swapping doors over is a no go, C60 doors are maybe patch panel donors.

I believe the doors are the same it's the floor pan and front clip that are different. The guts should swap.

I think, but don't know for sure yet. You just swap the regulators. That's all. That's what I assume, that's what I bought parts to do.I'm that confident.

I know the shells are basically the same. But are the windows the same power versus manual? Lock knob latches power vs manual? Handle actuating rods power versus manual?

I “could” use the C60 doors, but they have so many extra mirror holes… I will be swapping the power doorcards for the manual version. Might move my engine mounts from V6 to the forward V8 location and swap in the industrial 350. Maybe, industrial engine uses 265/283 style front mount, not sure the side mounting holes are drilled/tapped. Or if front beam axle spec ramshorn manifolds will work in an ifs chassis…

Strip both doors and compare may just need a few parts, regulators, rods, clips and door panels might be able to keep lock cylinders etc. May even need to drill a few holes for mounting hardware but the structure itself as far as the sheet metal goes should be the same.

Swapped from power to manual in my K5 as all was shot and harness missing. Only part not fitting is the inner door panel, the holes for the switch and crank are a little different.

Same here. All the manual parts were a direct fit to my power doors, I just needed manual door trim panels.

Same. 77, went from power to manual very recently. Zero issues, just had to buy the regulators and some crank handles
