I don't seem to have pics anymore but I used one from a 1992-96 Buick Century. Looked like it belonged there, more so than the 1990-91 Suburban switch.

Edit: take that back, found a pic.

They can be had in chrome or stainless?

They are polished stainless like the other truck and van mirrors. They just have a plastic trim bezel around the mirror head.

Retro....I got a Buick control like you did. By any chance do you have a wiring diagram or remember how this goes? With only 8 wires at the control how does this system work? 4 wires on each mirror. Where does + and - come from lol

Black is ground, orange is constant hot, then the others go to the mirrors. One of each color goes to each mirror, which usually matches the mirror wiring, but often the passenger mirror uses different colors for some reason.

After hours of searching today I found a diagram. Yellow goes to yellow on each side. Two wires from each side merge then before going to the controls to make it 3 from each mirror. I have them written down at home if anyone needs it I'll post tomorrow

It just depends. Some mirrors have 4 wires, some have 3 wires in the 4-place connector.

Here is a pic of my 86 K10 LH door panel w/Suburban switch mounted on Silverado insert for a factory look. I used G20 power dumbo mirrors. I've got power mirror conversion harnesses using both the Suburban type switch as well as the 3rd gen Camaro/Iroc power mirror switch which is similar to the G20 van style switch. I just finished building a power window/lock/mirror harness for my father in laws' 1977 GMC High Sierra using 1991 Suburban doors so if anyone needs/wants a complete, NEW factory style harness, PM for details! I've got the harnesses covered for these trucks-you just need to source the parts! And bye, the van power mirrors require just a slight amount of trimming to fit the pickup door contour better-the bases are different because the van doors are more flat where the mirror mounts vs the pickup.
