passenger side front leaf spring is rubbing on header

Hey guys 86 chevy four wheel drive,just put new motor in,now the header collector? were the pipe and header meet,the leaf spring shackle bolt is rubbing the header.Can the header be ''pushed over apx a 1''' ???? never had headers before,can a shop heat them up then mover them ? Do I have to get longer shackles???? HELP !!!!

Do you have a pic handy? The header can be modified and moved out of the way by a competent exhaust shop, I'm sure someone here has encountered this.

is it rubbing on the nut side? if it is you can flip it around. I have had to do this before. highdesertranger

Yup flip it. My front yoke made its own relief in one of the tubes..
